Malineni Perumallu Educational Society's Group of Institutions was started in the year 2009 at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. MPES is operational from a campus spread across 11 acres, offering 13 courses in 4 degree programs to a total enrolment of 1,447 students. The institution is more famous for its quality education, especially in the streams of Engineering and Pharmacy. MPES is approved by PCI, New Delhi, and the institution is an affiliated college, so it maintains high academic standards. Courses in the institution include the main batch of full-time courses. MPES offers 13 courses: B.Tech programs in many engineering specialisations, B.Pharma, M.Pharma specialisations, and diploma courses. The B.Tech programs range from areas like Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. In the pharmaceutical domain, it offers B.Pharma with M.Pharma specialisations in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Pharmaceutics. The sanctioned intake for B. Pharma is 100, and M. Pharma courses have 12 seats for Pharmaceutical Analysis and 15 for Pharmaceutics, respectively.

Admission to MPES is mainly on merit; therefore, it relies on entrance examination scores. In the case of B.Tech programs, the basis for admission is on the rank obtained in AP EAMCET. In the case of B. Pharma, too, admission is made on the basis of either the AP EAMCET rank or a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying 10+2 examination. In the case of a diploma course, the institute follows the Common Entrance Examination for Polytechnics conducted by SBTET AP, Hyderabad. The counselling for admissions generally takes place in June/July every year.
