The Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal which is commonly known as MCOPS Manipal was established in the year 1963. The institute is a constituent college of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal (MAHE). MCOPS is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). MCOPS is placed between 101 and 150 in the QS World University Rankings for Pharmacy and Pharmacology.
It is the third highest-ranked private pharmacy institution in the country according to Career 360.
