MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh, was established in the year 1968 as a front-line institution for women's empowerment through quality education. MA Sociology
The student must possess any one of the following qualifications:
- B.A. with Honours in Sociology / BA (General) with a least 45% marks in Sociology as an Elective subject.
- Bachelor's degree in any faculty with at least 50% marks in the aggregate or Master's degree in a subject other than Sociology.
MA English
The student must possess any one of the following qualifications:
- B.A. with Honours in English / BA (General) with at least 45% marks in English as an Elective subject.
- Bachelor's degree in any faculty with at least 50% marks in the aggregate or Master's degree in a subject other than English.
B.Com
A person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
BCA
A student who has passed the class XII Examination in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognized Board. The student should have passed Mathematics as one of the subjects at the Matriculation level.
PGDCA
A Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree from Panjab University under a 10+2+3 system of examination with at least 50% marks in any discipline.
PGD Mass Communication
BA
A student who has passed +2 with English as one of the subjects from State Board / CBSE / ISCE / or any other recognized Board/ University shall be eligible to seek admission to BA Semester I. The admission shall be made on the basis of the latest Panjab University guidelines.
BBA
Candidates, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
B.Sc Medical
- A candidate passed in the higher secondary examination (10+2) or appeared in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology as major subjects in the science stream from any recognized board.
B.Sc Non Medical
A candidate passed in the higher secondary examination (10+2) or appeared in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology as major subjects in the science stream from any recognized board.
