MET Institute of Pharmacy, Bandra, Mumbai was established in the year 1989. This affiliated college has 1.85 acres of campus and the National Board of Accreditation accredits it. Further, it got approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and All India Council for Technical Education. MET IOP offers a variety of programs in pharmacy: 7 courses across 4 degree levels. The total enrolment of students in this institution is 108 and the faculty strength of 32, the institute maintains a very favorable student-to-teacher ratio.

The institute offers 7 full-time courses in Bachelor's, Diploma and Master's programs in Pharmacy. The flagship program, B. Pharma, and the Diploma course in Pharmacy, D. Pharma. MET IOP has also offered, at the postgraduate level, four M. Pharma specialized programs in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Quality Assurance and Techniques, again with a different number of seats. A 6-year Pharm.D program is also offered by the institute for students who wish to pursue higher pharmaceutical studies.

Admission to MET Institute of Pharmacy. The institute admits only such students who have shown promise and potential in their earlier performance. For B.Pharma, the admission procedure is based on MHT CET. Every candidate shall appear for all subjects and achieve non zero marks in the CET to be conducted by Competent Authority. The D. Pharma course is a centralized admission process.

Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Sections, and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together
Should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority
All India Candidature Candidates:
The candidate should be an Indian National

NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, and Foreign National Candidature Candidates:
The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology, and obtained at least 45 % marks in the above subjects taken together
Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act
