Muragachha Government College was established in the year 2015. This affiliated college is relatively young and located in Muragachha, West Bengal, in Nadia District. It offers various undergraduate courses to aspirant students. The campus size of this institution is only 5 acres, and since its establishment, the growth of the college has been at a steady pace. The student enrollment now has reached a total of 556, who are being served by 19 core faculty members.
The institution has been striving much in terms of improving infrastructure so that the students get a proper studying environment. A library is coming up with an idea of serving the student community equally to meet the requirements of both their learning process and the research interests of the faculty. With around 250 books in its present stock, it is on its way to being a resource hub within the college. To facilitate the studying process of the students without having to go out from the campus in search of food, a canteen works from within, supplying full course meals and other refreshments at nominal rates. The college also looks after the health of its students by providing a Health Home facility and organizing health awareness programs. The institution has also set up departmental laboratories that facilitate practical learning, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in their fields of study.
Muragachha Government College has various full-time undergraduate programs. The academic portfolio comprises 10 courses, including arts and science streams.
