The Naraina Polytechnic Institute, Kanpur, was established in the year 2017. Located in Gangaganj, Panki, Kanpur, the institute is a co-educational, affiliated college approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE. The institute has an enrolment of 506 students along with 40 faculty members. Naraina Polytechnic offers a full-fledged array of diploma programmes. The institute intends to offer quality technical education in various disciplines of engineering, such as civil, electrical, mechanical, and mass communication, in response to the changing demands of industry.
The institute has all kinds of modern facilities that augment the learning experience of its students. It has well-equipped laboratories for practical training in various technical fields. Eminent academicians and persons of repute in industry comprise the core faculty members forming the management and various departments of the institute. This, therefore, benefits the students. In keeping with the comfort and convenience of the out-station students, Naraina Polytechnic has separate hostels for boys and girls, collectively capable of taking 1400 students. All rooms in both the hostels are spacious, hygienic, and with all modern amenities besides round-the-clock LAN connectivity. The institute also takes care of the physical health of its students by allowing a gymnasium and sports facility to be put up on the campus to let the students engage themselves in playing numerous games, such as basketball, cricket, volleyball, and many others.
Naraina Polytechnic Institute also offers five courses. All these various engineering streams are spread over it. The institute has a total enrolment capacity of 300 approved over all programs conducted by it. Every programme conducts 60 students. This maintains a sound student-to-faculty ratio, thereby ensuring excellent learning alongside personal attention.
