Narayana Pharmacy College offers four full-time courses across three degree programmes. The B. Pharma programme is the cornerstone of pharmaceutical education, with an approved intake of 100 students. At the postgraduate level, the college offers M. Pharma in Pharmaceutics and M. Pharma in Pharmaceutical Analysis for students who want to develop a specialisation in these areas. The students who wish to reach the top in pharmaceutical education can also enrol for the six-year doctoral programme in Pharm.D. Narayana Pharmacy College follows such an admission process that only admits promising students into its various programmes. B.Pharma admissions happen with reference to the performance of the students in entrance exams like GCET and MHT-CET. To be admitted into M. Pharma programmes, prospective postgraduate students must pass GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) or GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering). The college also conducts interviews as part of the selection process for M. Pharma programmes. These entrance examinations usually are conducted during the first half of the year, immediately followed by admissions.

B.Pharma
The candidate is to have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Maths & Biology as subjects. One must also pass with at least 50% marks in a Pre University Course with biology/mathematics as one of the subjects, or complete a D.Pharma. (Diploma in Pharmacy)
There is an option of pursuing a Direct Second Year Bachelor of Pharmacy (Lateral Entry) if one has: Should have aggregate of 50% marks in the First and Second year D. Pharmacy Examination with a pass in HSC or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology) or Mathematics.
Minimum qualifying marks in 10+2 examination as per Regulation (1a) above with pass in two year D. Pharmacy course.
The criteria for the minimum percentage of marks may differ from institute to institute. In some states, it is also mandatory to give an additional pharmacy entrance examination in order to be eligible for the course.
M.Pharma Pharmaceutics
Candidates who have passed the Bachelor of Pharmacy Programme with not less than 50% of marks, of any recognised University or any other Institute equivalent thereto the University, are eligible for admission to the Master of Pharmacy Programmes.
For SC/ST candidates, the eligibility is a pass in the B.Pharm. degree Programme.
M.Pharma Pharmaceutical Analysis
Candidates who have passed the Bachelor of Pharmacy Programme with not less than 50% of marks, of any recognised University or any other Institute equivalent thereto the University, are eligible for admission to the Master of Pharmacy Programmes.
