Having its Situated in Delhi, Netaji Subhas University of Technology West Campus was earlier known as CH Brahm Prakash Government Engineering College and occupies a premier status since 2007. This affiliated college is situated in Jaffarpur, Delhi in an area of 8 acres of land. It is an AICTE approved institute and provides a wide spectrum of engineering courses. As of now, NSUT West Campus is home to 6,297 students, 18 of whom are faculty members, so the learning for students is proactive. According to the enrolment data, the institute has a reasonable gender disparity for undergraduates with the male student enrolment of 89% and female of 11% whereas post graduate courses 68% are male students and 32 % are female students.

The campus boasts of such creature comforts that can positively impact the outcomes of scholarly education for the campus. It has a collection of about 20000 books including 45 printed journals, 28 magazines, 4 e-journals and a reference section of about 3000 titles. For recreation, the college has several acres of play fields out door sports facilities like cricket and football grounds, badminton hall and basketball court and so on. 

Organized sports are available consisting of two table tennis sets. The fully equipped multipurpose hall With 130-seat capacity Isratech was used during our visit to showcase the event through LCD panels. For students’ convenience and comfortable living whilst in school, individual hostels for both male and female students are provided. This ensures that a canteen on the compound serves the necessary nutritionary requirements of the staff and students. To ensure the health of the college community the college has health center offering the first aid facilities.

The programs that are taught at NSUT West Campus include a total of five courses, of which four are undergraduate and one postgraduate course. The undergraduate programs consist of only B.Tech specialization - Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geoinformatics for that each having a total of 4 years of full time program and the post graduate programme is a M.Tech - Structural Engineering for a total of 2 years but a full time program. 

The total admitted capacity recognized for the undergraduate courses is 240 whereas in the postgraduate course 30 intakes are permitted. In the academic year 2022 the institute enrolled the total of 5,918 undergraduate and 379 postgraduate students. The college have also done a good job in ensuring the student get quality education because 94% of the students are under taking their undergraduate while 6% are under taking postgraduate studies.

NSUT West Campus on admission process of the undergraduate programme majorly depends on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. This particular examination is very popular and accepted by the institute at the national level for offering admission in B.Tech. Though there are no defined dates available, concerning the admission for the program, the candidates are requested to follow the JEE Main examination dates and results as these has its significant importance from admission dates point of view. However, it is highly advisable that for postgraduate admissions, interested candidates should check at the Colleges official website for more detail.

The institute also provides scholarships to the students in need and deserving to support him or her education financially. During the academic year 2022, 896 undergraduate students have been issued with reimbursements in effort to make education affordable at the college. However the details of the scholarships themselves are not clearly stated and students are advised to contact the institute for more information.
