NV Society’s Polytechnic at Gulbarga which was started in 1983 is one of the noted Technical Institution situated in Kalaburagi, Karnataka. This affiliated college approved by All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E.) provides number of diploma courses in various fields of engineering. Lutheran is located in a vast acreage of 10 acres, for the total number of student enrolment for the company is 329 while that of the faculty members is of 38. NV Society’s Polytechnic has five full time regular diploma courses involving three years of study in areas of Mechanical Engineering Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science Engineering.
The NV Society’s Polytechnic boasts of having all round modern facilities aimed at improving the kind of knowledge students acquire. This equipped library plays the important role of knowledge resource centre with comprehensive collection of resources available for the students. Modern laboratories exist for every department to enhance first-hand practical experience apart from sound knowledge. To this effect, the institute has sports amenities and a gym to promote the physical aspect as well as the academic aspect of the institute. An auditorium is used for different functions and seminars ensuring an active campus life.
