OIMT is an established institute named as Ojaswini Institute of Management and Technology was setup in2007 situated in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. This constituent college spread over a vast area of 10.12 Acres provides a broad spectrum of engineering courses. Total number of students admitted to OIMT Damoh is three hundred twenty two and total number of faculty members present in the institute is 88. The institute offers the 7 courses in two degrees programmes in different fields of engineering including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Computer Science, and Information Technology. The institutions’ focus on providing quality education and state of the art infrastructure to develop the human capital required to meet the dynamic environment in the industry is what OIMT Damoh aims to achieve.
OIMT Damoh has made available a myriad of facilities to enhance learning environment to students. Currently there are two hostel for boys and girls each of 200 bed capacity having separate dining hall and facility of strong security. For physical fitness purposes, a modern equipped gym is organized, making the OIMT the only college in the Bundelkhand region equipped by such a gym. The library is a storehouse of information consisting of over 25000 books, references, and a number of national and international research journals. There are playgrounds for football, cricket, hockey, basketball, and volley ball besides indoor badminton and table tennis lawns. The IT facilities are modern: there are two conditioned computer classrooms each equipped with 45 branded computers and Internet access. There are also provisions for a cafeteria, an auditorium for events /seminars/training, Trans-Port and other transport facilities linking different parts of the city.
The institute is currently offering a total of 7 course portfolios, all of which are full time. Such offer include six BE programmes in Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology. Besides, Diploma program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is also provided at OIMT Damoh.
The admission process used at OIMT Damoh is very smooth and will be advantageous to those who want to be engineers. Some common practice engineering institutes include the candidate’s performance in the 10+2 or equivalent examination with passed and percentage calculation only based on marks secured in mathematics and science stream separately.
