Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil Polytechnic, Nerul, was established in 2000 and is one of the well-known educational institutes in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. This co-educational institute runs Diploma Programmes in various branches of engineering, which have been designed to suit the developing needs of the sector related to technical education. The polytechnic also has a fully air-conditioned auditorium with an audience capacity of 750 seating, fitted with state-of-the-art facilities such as a Dolby sound system, suitable for conducting cultural programmes and technical symposiums.

Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil Polytechnic provides a total number of four diploma courses which are being comprehensive, full-time programmes, and each one of them amounts to three years.
