BA Hindi Hons
A person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
BA Urdu Hons
A person, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
BA Bangla Hons
A person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
BA English Hons

BCA Hons
- Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the degree of Bachelor of Computer Applications will be required to have passed with a minimum of 55% marks for General Category and 45% for Reserved Category of Students in the Intermediate Examination in Arts / Science / Commerce of a Board / University established or incorporated by law or any other examination recognized by Patna University as Equivalent Thereto.
- The reservation of seats will be as per the rules of the State Government / Patna University for S.C., S.T., and OBC. Categories of students. All candidates seeking admission to the B.A. (H)in Computer Applications course will have to pay the full fee as presented in the regulations or modified from time to time under the provision of the regulations.
- Candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination for the current academic year are also eligible to apply subject to the condition that they produce the proof of having passed the qualifying examination at the time of admission.
- Applicants must have sound knowledge of Mathematics.
BBA Hons
- Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the Degree of Bachelor of Business Administration will be required to have passed the Intermediate Examination in Arts, Science, or Commerce of a Board/University established or incorporated by law or any other examination recognized by Patna University as equivalent thereto.
- The reservation of seats shall be as per rules of the State Government/Patna University of SC, ST, EBC & BC girls Categories of candidates. All candidates seeking admission to the course shall have to pay the full fee as prescribed in the regulations or modified from time to time.
BMC Hons
- Candidates seeking admission to the first of the Degree of Bachelor of Mass communication will be required to have passed with a minimum of 45% marks, the Intermediate Examination in Arts/Science/Commerce of a Board/University established or incorporated by law or any other examination recognized by the university as equivalent thereto.
- The maximum number of seats for the course in a College where a B.M.C course started will be limited to 60 only which may be revised with the prior permission of the State Govt. There shall be five additional seats forwards of NRI on payment and first-cum-first-serve basis. The reservation of seats for the course shall be as per the rules of the State Govt. / Patna University for SC, ST, and OBC. All candidates seeking admission to the course shall pay full fees as prescribed in the regulations or modified from time to time under the provision of the regulations.
- No applicant shall be admitted to the course who has not applied for admission within the notified time, or who is selected for admission, does not get herself/himself enrolled within the specified time, except when the delay has been condoned by the Vice-chancellor.
- No applicant shall be admitted to the course who in the opinion of the Vice-chancellor, should not be admitted in the best interest of the university.
