Pragati College of Education situated at Rangareddy, Telangana, India was established in 2003 and is affiliated. This institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education plays a special role in offering quality education in the teaching arena. The college has a total student enrolment capacity of 183 and a faculty capacity of 17, which makes for an intimate environment to groom professional teachers. The college currently provides two full-time courses: Teaching Profession courses, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and the Diploma in Education (D.Ed).

The Diploma in Education (D.Ed), another two years full time program has the capacity to enroll fifty students. Admission to Pragati College of Education is strictly on the basis of merit, following directives from the state government, UT administration and the university to which it is affiliated to. For the B.Ed program, the admission will be strictly on merit of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination conducted by the Mangalam University as well as entrance examination.
