Pt LR College of Technology, Technical Campus, Faridabad was established in the year 2011. Pt LR College of Technology, Faridabad also known as PLRCT Faridabad is an affiliated college, situated in Faridabad in the state of Haryana. Pt LR College of Technology, Faridabad is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University  in order to provide relevant quality education in the field of technical education. The college sprawls over an area of 4.1 acres of land with a built-up area of 10,180 sq.m. The institute can boast of an optimum student-teacher ratio with an enrolment of 1,076 students and 114 faculty members. PLRCT Faridabad offers 15 courses in 6 degree programs, comprising a number of specialisations in Engineering and Management studies.

PLRCT Faridabad offers an entire range of courses, including Full-time B. Tech in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Apart from this, the institute offers diploma courses in various engineering disciplines and postgraduate courses such as M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and MBA. In the B.Tech courses, the total intake is 360, out of which most specialisations have an intake capacity of 60 seats each while Mechanical Engineering has a large intake capacity of 120 seats. In the case of diploma courses, the intakes are even more with Mechanical Engineering offering as many as 150 seats. It also offers BCA and BBA courses for the candidature of students in computer applications and business administration, respectively.                                                                                                                       

Admission to PLRCT Faridabad is strictly based on merit, the main consideration is scores obtained in the Joint Entrance Examination for admissions to the B.Tech course, thus ensuring that only students with a strong science and mathematics background enter the institution.
