Punjabi University Regional Centre for Information Technology and Management, Mohali, started in the year 2000 is recognised university of Punjab located in Mohali Punjab. Providing co-educational facility it spreads across 12 courses in 10 degree programmes in a specialisation of Information technology, Management and Computer science. Offering a total of 94 student enrolment and having a faculty of 17 the institute offers a favourable ratio of faculty to students. The centre is focused on technical learning and the university provides undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in areas of Computer Science, Business administration and Commerce among others study options.
Punjabi University Regional Centre has got several amenities usable for students in their learning and overall development. In this respect the library works to compile and disseminate pieces of information that may be instrumental in the learning process of the students. Modern laboratories to meet learning activities for practical needs of various departments so that students get practical experience. The centre boasts of a good information technology infrastructure such as campus wireless internet connection in line with current learning practices and student connectivity. For the comprehensive growth of a student, we have sports equipments and facilities, for the doze of fitness and team spirit. It also has a cafeteria for food and snacks and an auditorium for event and seminar to ensure an active campus.
The Regional Centre for Information Technology and Management established in Punjabi University deals with all the necessary courses right from full-time bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes. Currently, the institute offers 12 courses in their different specialties, consisting of technology and management. Such course offerings also include B.Sc in Computer Science (Hons), BBA, B.Com as well as uniqueness programmes like B.Sc in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (Hons). In the postgraduate level the center provides MBA, M.Tech-Computer Science and Engineering, MCA.

M.Com
The candidate should have passed Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in B.Com./B.B.A./B.M.I.T./B.Com.(Professional), B.Com. (Accounting and Finance) with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST and handicapped with at least 40% disability).
B.Com
The Candidate should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the 10+2/Diploma examination (45% marks for SC/ST and handicapped with at least 40% disability).
MCA
Candidates who have passed the Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3) in any discipline of the statutory University with 50% marks in aggregate 45% for SC/ST and physically handicapped with at least 40% disability. The candidates must have passed the senior secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination or higher degree examination with Mathematics/Statistics/Business Mathematics/Business Statistics/Quantitative Techniques/or equivalent as compulsory/optional/ additional subject or paper.
MCA Lateral Entry
Students who have completed a Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration in BCA, B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science) with 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST and differently-abled persons with at least 40% disability) with Mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at Graduate level shall be eligible for admission to the second year of MCA course.
BCA MCA Integrated
The Candidate should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 (45% marks for SC/ST) shall be eligible for the course.
M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering
Candidates who have passed MSc-IT or B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering/Computer Engineering/Information Technology/Information Communication Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent degree in Engineering with 60% (55% for SC/ST and differently-abled persons) marks.
MBA
Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree examination (45% marks for SC/ST and handicapped with at least 40% disability).
MBA Executive
The Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree examination (45% marks for SC/ST and handicapped with at least 40% disability) AND 12- months work experience in any private organization OR government organization OR 2 years of commissioned service in defense forces OR 2 years work experience as an entrepreneur.
BBA
The Candidate should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the 10+2/Diploma examination (45% marks for SC/ST and handicapped with at least 40% disability).
B.Sc Computer Science Hons
The Candidate should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the 10+2/Diploma examination (45% marks for SC/ST and handicapped with at least 40% disability).
