Ram Awadh Singh Shikshan Prakshan Sansthan, Mau an affiliated college is established in 2015 in Pipreedih, Mau Uttar Pradesh. This 2.78 acres campus educational institution is purely for the purpose of teacher education and is accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Currently, the institute has 186 students and 16 faculty members to cater for the needs of the students and provide proper training for the young teachers.
Ram Awadh Singh Shikshan Prakshan Sansthan boasts of putting up several facilities they deem necessary to complement the learning of these learners. The IT infrastructure consists of a generator to support fans and computers which are very important in modern learning process. In regard to practical learning, the college has a series of well-stocked and resourced laboratories to accommodate experimental subjects. Play area and sports apparatus and toys are provided whereby students are enabled to foster their physical development besides developing a balanced student. The college library is established to provide information to meet the goal of the institution’s endeavours. Besides, there is a guest house and waiting place for the visiting faculty, students’ relatives, etc, thus, the hospitality of the institute is also obvious.
Ram Awadh Singh Shikshan Prakshan Sansthan, Mau has presently only two full-time courses operational which are the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). It is intended to be a two-year programme to equip students for a teaching profession in the elementary level. The institute has an approved admissions capacity of a total of 50 students for all courses and the current admission capacity for this course is as follows. This shows a certain dedication on the part of the college to quality learning in the area of elementary teaching although it concentrates on this particular programme.
