Sagar Institute of Technology (SITECH) was started in 2009 andis one of the reputed Institute located in Hyderabad, Telangana. This affiliated college, recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, is located on a fifty acres of land. SITECH provides numerous engineering and management courses with total 10 courses at 4 levels of degrees. The institute has 15 member faculty and encourages the co-education of students pursuing various technical courses.

To provide a right infrastructure to the students, Sagar Institute of Technology has all modern amenities within its spacious campus. The boys hostel has a 300 bed capacity while girls hostel has bed capacity of 200 providing accommodation to the learners. They are fitted with Wi-Fi connectivity, have an improved source of purified drinking water for twenty-four hours and solar treated water. The campus encompasses a centrally located large library extending over two floors measuring 5,500 sq. ft. At present, it has more than 27340 books, 80 print and online journals, and magazines, and an e-library with 50 computer systems for internet resources. SITECH also values physical fitness and sports, and provides both indoor and outdoor games facilities; a gym with imported equipment are available.

The courses provided by Sagar Institute of Technology and Research Centre include an extensive list to allow the students who have different area specialisations. It offeres 10 courses in this diverse field focusing full time B.Tech programmes in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering, & Mechanical Engineering. In addition, SITECH provides the Master of Business Administration MBA and the Master of Technology M.Tech in various fields of specialisation consisting of VLSI and Embedded Systems Design, CAD/CAM etc. For candidate interested in diploma level education, the institute offers a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. B.Tech programmes take 60 students at a time for each programme while M.Tech Programmes are offered 18 students at a time for each programme.

Sagar Institute of Technology & Research Centre follows the policy for admission that is complete and equitable. For B.Tech programmes, this institute mostly screens students for their scores in the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test TS EAMCET. This exam is important for anyone willing to be an engineer in the state. For postgraduate programmes, SITECH uses the scores from TS PGECET examination for M.Tech admissions and TSICET for MBA programmes.
