Sai Shyam College of Education at Ghou Manhasan, Jammu Jammu and Kashmir was established in 2002 It is a co-educational affiliated college. Eventhough the Institute is relatively young, it is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), a testimony of the institute’s intention to offer quality education. Located in a limited area of 1.7 acres, the college as at now has 267 students and 11 facilities. Sai Shyam College of Education only has one course to offer, the Bachelors of Education which is a two-year full-time course. 

Sai Shyam College of Education has a array of facilities to cater for student’s learning process and progression. A developed library with all the amenities including book, periodicals, and magazine are available to help support the knowledge needs. The library is fully open-shelved to ensure students can locate the books on their own. The college also has Students’ Organisation provide umbrella for the students to achieve their goals Students Organisation Computer laboratory with internet facilities, to help students foster their Information Technology proficiencies. To support the field training and practical learning the institution offers several specialist laboratories such as the Audio-Visual Aid Laboratory, Science Laboratory, Language Laboratory, and Psychological Laboratory among others that have modern apparatus to aid learning.

Sai Shyam College of Education only has one course in its portfolio: the Bachelor of Education B.Ed. This is a two year full-time course with the purpose of producing qualified professional teachers.

The admission procedures for the B.Ed course in this College is that it is a University affiliated College and its admission process is carried out by the University of Jammu. All students are admitted through this central portal and must apply for admission to be considered in any course.
