Sanjivani Pratisthan College of Education is an affiliated college situated in Kurund, Ahmednagar, Established in 2005, the institution was started with a view to provide quality in education. NCTE recognised, it is a co-educational teacher education institution. The college occupies a campus of 5.07 acres, at present the college provides two full-time courses with an overall student capacity of 199 students. The strength of the faculties is 20; therefore, the student faculty ratio is favourable in this institution. Sanjivani Pratisthan College of Education aims at educating future instructors through B.Ed and D.El.Ed courses to fulfill the need of teachers at various tiers.
The college has a variety of facilities that augments the learning process of the learners, Computer and IT facilities includes a computer laboratory with more than sixty computers and two printers which provide students with practical experience of technology in education. Science practicals as rehearsed in secondary schools can be well illustrated using a science laboratory. The library at Sanjivani Pratisthan College of Education is one of the institution speciality has 6,850 books in its collection, 4,219 of which are reference books, educational encyclopedia and journals. Large, ventilated classrooms promote ultimatelearning atmosphere. The college also has sporting facilities bearing in mind the need for students to have some form of exercise. Other facilities are a canteen, an auditorium, guest house accommodation, apart from separate hostels for boys and girls to accommodate out station students.
Sanjivani Pratisthan College of Education offers two courses. They have done Bachelors of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). The two programmes have a calendar and credit hour duration of two years with the focus of training students to teach. For these courses, the approved intake is 200 students and 100 places for each course programme. This focused approach allows the college to have high standards in teacher education and at the same time, meet the unique needs of teachers.

Sanjivani Pratisthan College of Education admissions are as per the guidelines of the State Government of Maharashtra. 100% of the admission for the B.Ed programme is centralised based solely on merit. Entrance examination or the Common Entrance Test (CET) scores decide the candidates for admission in the course. The CET assesses candidates in mental ability, teacher attitude, aptitude to be a teacher and their general knowledge. It is done in Marathi and English medium also. Similarly, for the D.El.Ed programme, also merit will be taken into consideration QUA qualification examination/ entrance examination as per the guideline of the state government norms.
