Saraswati Teacher’s Training College was established in the year 2007 on Dhundhariya, Behror, Alwar – Rajasthan and emerged as one of the most honoured educational institutions. This is a both genders institution focused on producing quality teachers through the B.Ed programme. University affiliated and recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE),the college guarantees the best in teacher training. Saraswati Teacher’s Training College has a total enrolment capacity of 172 students and a faculty of 15 members providing an appended teaching environment for teachers.

In addition to quality courses with professional staff, Saraswati Teacher’s Training College provides a number of alloys with a view of improving learning environment for the students. The main living area that is physical facilities comprises of amenities as follows; a fully equipped library with an approximate of 4,000 books of various editions in B.Ed streams both English and Hindi edition are also availed. The library also has male and female reading rooms and seminar amenities that will ensure students get the best environment in which to learn and research. For the practical session the college in well-accommodated with Science Lab, Computer Lab, Psychology Lab and Audio-Visual Aids with the most updated apparatus and technology. 

Thus, present scenario being development-oriented and focusing on skill-enrichment the Saraswati Teacher’s Training College currently has only one full-time course on its offer consisting in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. The college offers the following two-year programme with an approved student intake of one hundred students to enhance an effective student-teacher ratio. B.ed course being professional opportunity is intended to provide the students with all necessary competencies and knowledge to become successful teachers, combining the required academic knowledge with teaching practice.

Saraswati Teacher’s Training College admission policy involves the scores obtained in the entrance examination as well as or in the qualifying examination. The college may also apply any other method of selection applicable in accordance to the policies of the state government, UT administration and the University to which the college is affiliated.
