Sarojini Naidu Vanitha Maha Vidhyalaya (SNVMV) was founded in 1962, in Hyderabad of Telangana state, and is a women’s college. This affiliated college with a campus area of 4 acre is offering 20 courses inclusive of 7 degrees. The aggregate number of students intake is 2,592 and 139 faculty members make SNVMV, a women’s college offering education in discipline subjects. It recognizes with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and Affiliated with the TECHNICAL All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which set quality standards.

This college offers student modern facilities with which students can attain their academic and individual spirit goals. An up to date and well stocked library is available to support the need of the undergraduate and post graduate students in addition to equal and new books and other reference materials. Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Physics are some of the special sections of laboratories available on the campus with practical facilities. 

SNVMV has a state of the art Information Technology System, with four iconically air-conditioned computer laboratories and a computer center connected to the Internet. The college also has hostsels for girls with a capacity of 310 students, for those who come from distant places, they are provided with a safe place to stay.

SNVMV comprises all sorts of course offerings; it has 20 full time programmes among the different faculties. It offers Bachelors of Science, Arts, and Commerce also offers Masters of English Literature, Commerce, Sciences, and Management. Current number of students across all courses is 2,592 this proves the college’s enthusiasm in the education of women. Among the courses offered include B.Sc in various combinations, BA with different specializations B.Com, M.Com, M.Sc in multiple subjects, MA in English Literature, MBA and others.

At SNVMV admissions are offered only on merit basis for all the major courses of study. To compete for MBA seats, the college recognizes scores from the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test TSICET.
