Sat Kabir Institute of Technology and Management, Bahadurgarh, Haryana, was established in 2009. This is a co-educational institute affiliated with Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. The institute offers various programs in the fields of engineering, management, and computer applications. The campus is spread over 14 acres with a total student enrolment of 1,126 and a faculty strength of 87.
SKITM boasts a number of facilities that enhance the learning experience. The institute library serves as an integrated knowledge resource center with more than 10,000 books, CD-ROMs, national/international journals, and magazines. At their disposal are also well-equipped laboratories, air-conditioned classrooms with modern teaching aids, and a Wi-Fi network across the campus. This also includes separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with facilities like internet, security, and other comforts. The institute also looks after the students' physical health and hence has arranged sports facilities for indoor and outdoor games such as table tennis, chess, volleyball, and cricket.
Courses offered in SKITM are versatile, from many different interests to diverse career aspirations. It offers 10 courses in 5 degree programs: full-time B.Tech, BCA, BBA, M.Tech, and MBA. Programs at the core of SKITM offerings include B.Tech programs in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

At SKITM, admission procedures are made merit-based and transparent. For B.Tech programs, admission is primarily based on JEE Main examination performance conducted by the CBSE. It accepts GATE score in its postgraduate level courses. The Institute conducts lateral entry in B.tech Courses through Online Lateral Entry Test, OLET, conducted by NIC.

BCA
A person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering
For 1st Year B.Tech
Should be a pass in 10+2 examination from recognized Board/ University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any vocational subject and any one of the following subjects having 45% marks and 5% relaxation to SC & ST Students: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science and Biology
OR
Have passed Diploma course in Engineering/Technology of three years duration or more from State Board of Technical Education, Haryana or its equivalent recognized diploma examination
For admission in 2nd year B.Tech.
Should have passed Diploma course in Engineering/Technology of three years duration or more from State Board of Technical Education, Haryana or its recognized equivalent diploma examination with at least 45% marks in the aggregate of all semesters (5% relaxation to SC/ST).
OR
Should be a pass in BSc(10+2 with mathematics) Degree of minimum three-year duration from a recognized university with mathematics as a subject, with 45% marks in aggregate.
B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering
For 1st Year B.Tech

BBA
Should be a passed in 10+2 examination with at least 45%( 40% for SC Candidates of Haryana) from recognized Board/University in Science/Commerce/Arts.
MBA
Passed Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 Year duration. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
