Saveetha College of Physiotherapy is a constituent college located in Chennai, Saveetha University, established in 1993, committed to producing excellent physiotherapists. This co-educational institution is situated at Saveetha Nagar, Thandalam and offers manifold programs in the area of physiotherapy. The college occupies a 0.053-acre campus and serves 374 students enrolled in the college. 

It is a small institute which has fifteen members in teaching faculty and thereby providing individual attention and quality education. Currently, Saveetha College of Physiotherapy offers 12 courses disseminated in three levels of degree; Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree and Doctorate with the various specializations in physiotherapy fields.

Due to students’ needs, the college aims to provide the best teaching and learning resources as learning facilities. The campus has well stocked libraries, up to date laboratories, and quality hostel facilities for the males and females students. It has over 15,000 books and we have all sorts of topics as a backdrop to the library making it ideal for learning. 

A computer library also forms part of the college, with over 30 computers to guarantee that students have an opportunity to work on computers and access technology enhanced learning resources. There are sports amenities and a gym for physical health and the cafeteria is for social purposes. The main campus is totally connected to Wi-Fi, there is a three hundred mega byte per second internet connectivity which enhance access of internet resources.

Saveetha College of Physiotherapy has provided a plethora of courses that will enable student’s pursue their dreams in physiotherapy. The institute offers 12 programs, one undergraduate programme (B PT – Bachelor of Physiotherapy), 10 post graduate programs (M PT – Master of Physiotherapy) with specialization and Two doctoral programmes (Ph.D in Physiotherapy). 

The available postgraduate specializations include Orthopaedics and Manual Therapy, Neurology, Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Conditions, Sports and Manual Therapy, Paediatrics, Urology and Obstetrics, General and Hand Surgery, Kinesiotherapy and Community Geriatrics and Palliative Care Exercise. This vast list of courses gives the students an opportunity to major in areas of physiotherapy that they would like most.

The admission process of Saveetha College of Physiotherapy aims at identifying deserving and enthusiastic students to join the college to different study courses.
