Established in the year 1980, S.G. Government Degree College, Chittoor, is one of the major colleges in this region situated at Piler, Andhra Pradesh. It is a co-educational college affiliated to S.V. University offering numerous undergraduate and post-graduate programmes under the various faculties. Located over 8.48 acres, the college has an enrolment of 591 students in 7 different courses and a faculty of 37 members each. The college offers postgraduate degrees in M.Com, M.Sc Computer Science, and M.Sc Organic Chemistry.
