Shankarrao Jawale Patil Mahavidyalaya, Lohara, set up in 2002 is an affiliated college situated in Osmanabad, Maharashtra. This institution has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to show more concern for quality education. The college has 1,987 enrolments and 16 faculty members to instruct the various programmes of undergraduate study. The school enrolment comprises 304 males and 234 female students thus the school has a balanced gender ratio. The college provides three programmes including BA, B.Com, and B.Sc for which their admission capacity is one hundred and twenty. 

Shankarrao Jawale Patil Mahavidyalaya has made available several facilities which will improve student’s experience. A good facility enables students to engage themselves in outdoor activities among them being volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho and athletic. The college cafeteria has a seating capacity of 25 with provision for students’ multiple usages inclusive of serving staff, students, and visitors. Due to the advancement in technology across the globe, the whole campus has been wired with Wi-Fi to enable students to use the Internet in their studies. The college also avails adequate parking space for students, staff, and any visitor who may decide to grace the institution with his or her presence at any one given time. 

Shankarrao Jawale Patil Mahavidyalaya provides a total number of three personal manipulation courses out of them all three programmes are full-time. The programmes offered include the BA, B.Com and B.Sc each of which will take three years of completion and will be accredited to take 120 students per course. This raises the overall available seats in all the programmes to 360. 

Shankarrao Jawale Patil Mahavidyalaya's admission process is quite flexible for all the students fulfilling the required criteria. Admission requirements are on the basis of their performance in the exams they sat for at their previous institutions.
