Shri Hubraj Jaiswal Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, was established in the year 2013. It is an affiliated college with the idea of imparting young minds since its commencement. Its campus is extended over 1.5 acres. This institution provides quality education to women and the National Council of Teacher Education has granted approval to this college. The college has a total enrolment of 1,224 students, along with 19 faculty members, and offers a wide range of 11 courses in 5 degree programmes catering to diverse academic interests and career aspirations. 

There are ample facilities within the campus that help in enriching the learning experience for the student community at large. At the centre of these facilities is the library, well-stocked with an extended collection of subject-specific books for student borrowing. The college emphasises that this be time-bound and has stipulated a fine system so that everything works out equitably for everyone. For practical learning through experimentation, departmental laboratories are provided by Shri Hubraj Jaiswal Mahila Mahavidyalaya so that students work their way through experience in respective fields. The sports-minded students will have ample scope to follow their particular games/ sports as the college organises sports events and develops them under the guidance of dedicated sports teachers. Talented athletes selected for representing the college at university and state levels shall have all the expenses for participation met from the sports fund of the college. 

Shri Hubraj Jaiswal Mahila Mahavidyalaya offers a comprehensive array of courses at both under-graduate and postgraduate levels. The college offers 11 full-time courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels across diversified disciplines. Courses offered at the undergraduate level are BA, B.Sc, B.Sc Home Science, and B.Ed. In terms of options available for postgraduation, the college has MA in Hindi, Sanskrit, Sociology, Geography, and Home Science, and M.Sc in Physics and Zoology. The B.Ed. programme is one of the prime courses of the college, with an approved intake of 100 students, reflecting the prime concern of the institution towards teacher education. 

Shri Hubraj Jaiswal Mahila Mahavidyalaya has different admission procedures according to the course. In most courses, admission is merit-based and is made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. However, in the case of the B.Ed., the college has a more comprehensive selection process. The admissions to this programme are made based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, in accordance with the policies framed by the state government and the university. This makes sure that only the most deserving and capable students make it through to the teaching profession.
