Shri Ram College of technology (SRCT) started its journey back in 2009 and is an acclaimed educational centre in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Spread over an area of 20.5 acres, this affiliated college has been touching heights in the fields of technical education. SRCT Bhopal is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education meaning that the educational standards are recognised. A nine-course portfolio across 2 degree levels caters the engineering students as per their fields of interest. SRCT Bhopal is an establishment that consists of highly qualified faculties including the members up to 101. The institute works towards delivering quality education to the young engineers.
There are many facilities in the college that have been developed to improve the learning experiences of the students. The library associated with OPAC has more than 30000 publications and plays an important role in the academic process. For those who need some assistance in finding a place to stay, then SRCT provides accommodation to both boys and girls that includes hostels with basic necessities and recreation areas. The college is showing its concern towards the all-round development of the students, from their sports facilities to their auditorium services for cultural activities. Computer literate students will also enjoy computer laboratories within the college with more than 100 computers and an Audio-Visual and Language (AVL) laboratory for recording videos. There is free WiFi on campus to allow the students and the staff to easily access the internet. Modern electronics, mechanical engineering, and computer science laboratories that include a range of setups to build prototypes are available. In the same regard, the college provides transport and parking amenities for ease of the college community.
The institute offers six B.Tech streams and three diploma streams, all of them are full-time programmes. The B.Tech courses offered cover broad areas of specialisation such Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The college provides the following diploma-level courses to those who want to pursue diploma education: Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering. The total approved intake for these courses is different and it can reach 60 students for some programmes, so a student and a teacher can easily get to know each other.
