Established in 1983, Shri Shivaji Education Society's College of Engineering and Technology, Yavatmal is one of the well-known educational societies in Maharashtra, India. This affiliated college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and offers a varied range of different engineering and architectural programmes. The college spreads over a 39-acre campus with a total student enrolment of 983 and a faculty strength of 47.

Other facilities within the campus include a canteen, an auditorium for events and seminars, and easier transport facilities between the Shivaji Park Campus and Babhulgaon Campus.

Shri Shivaji Education Society's College of Engineering and Technology offers a total of eight courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. All the courses the institute offers are full-time ones in the fields of engineering and architecture, aiming at practical industry-oriented education. The approved intake for all courses together is 168, thus making the student-to-faculty ratio conducive for students to enjoy personalised attention toward their academic growth.

The admission process at Shri Shivaji Education Society's College of Engineering and Technology is inclusive and transparent. The Institution accepts scores of various national and state-level entrance examinations, Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) for its engineering programmes, National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) for the B.Arch programme, and Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) for its postgraduate courses. Admissions are also done based on the results of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET).
