Shri Vatavruksha Swami Maharaj Devasthan's, Kai Kalyanrao Balasaheb Ingale Polytechnic College, Akkalkot, was established in 2009. This is an affiliated college in Solapur in the state of Maharashtra. This co-educational institution is approved by AICTE and offers diploma courses in different streams of engineering. It sprawls over 5.25 acres with a total enrolment of 337 students, and the faculty has a strength of 21. It offers four diploma courses in a single degree program that specialize in Civil, Mechanical, Computer, and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
The college has different facilities which are intended for helping the learning process and overall development of the students. It's the central hub for all academic information. There are around 12,000 books, periodicals, and multimedia on its bookshelves. The maintenance is peaceful enough for the students to study. There are well-equipped, state-of-the-art IT infrastructures and laboratories with the latest software and accessories pertaining to each department in the institute, constantly upgrading themselves to match today's ever-evolving times.
Shri Vatavruksha Swami Maharaj Devasthan's Kai Kalyanrao Balasaheb Ingale Polytechnic College offers a total of four full-time diploma courses, each spanning three years. In total, all programs have a sanctioned intake of 180 students. The programs will provide imbibing hands-on experience and practical knowledge in the respective field, thus gearing the student to face challenges of the industry.

- The Candidate should be an Indian National
- Passed SSC or its equivalent examination from the recognized institution with at least 35% aggregate marks.
- Candidates who have passed Maths/ Mathematics (code 71 for Maharashtra State Board) and Science & Technology (code 72 for Maharashtra State Board) are only eligible for admission.
For Maharashtra State Board Candidates
- For the candidates who have passed SSC Examination before March 2009, the aggregate marks shall be total of marks obtained by the candidate in any 5 subjects where he/she has scored maximum marks.
- For the candidates who have passed the SSC Examination after March 2009, the aggregate marks shall be the total marks of 5 subjects taken into consideration and mentioned on the Mark sheet.
- The Candidates who have passed Maths/Mathematics (Code 71 for Maharashtra State Board candidates) and Science & Technology (Code 72 for Maharashtra State Board candidates) are only eligible for admission.
- In case marks against sports activities are given on the mark sheet, these shall be added to the aggregate marks for deciding merit.
For ICSE Candidates
- The student seeking admission based on Group 1 & Group 2 subjects only, the aggregate marks shall be the total of marks in any of the 5 subjects from Group 1 & Group 2 where he/she has scored maximum marks.
- For the student seeking admission based on Group 1, Group 2 & Group 3, aggregate marks shall be the total of all subjects from all groups.
For CBSE/ICSE Candidates
- In case the result of the candidate is given in terms of grades, such Candidates are required to submit the graded result into the equivalent marks authorized by the concerned institute /Board.
For Direct Second Year of Post SSC Diploma Courses
- The Candidate Passing HSC Science or HSC Science with Technical or HSC Science with Vocational Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or SSC with 2 Years ITI with appropriate specialization from a Recognized Institution in Maharashtra State.
Diploma in Computer Engineering
