SIMS College of Pharmacy, located at Mangaladas Nagar, Vijayawada Road, Guntur, was started in 2006 as a premier institution for pharmaceutical education in Andhra Pradesh. This is a co-educational institute offering different programmes in pharmacy. Approved by AICTE and PCI, SIMS College of Pharmacy is an affiliated college that aims to impart quality education from its 3-acre campus. With an intake of 625 students and a faculty strength of 45, the student-teacher ratio is very encouraging. It offers 6 courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. degree levels that focus on the study of industrial pharmacy, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, and pharmaceutical analysis, amongst others.

SIMS College of Pharmacy has separate hostels for boys and girls on campus, with a safe and comfortable living environment backed by well-planned nutritious meals. SIMS College of Pharmacy has a variety of courses related to the field of pharmacy that are tailored to suit different career goals in the pharmaceutical sector. There are 6 full-time courses available in the institute; these include undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes. The undergraduate programmes include B.Pharma with an enrolment capacity of 100 and Pharm.D with an enrolment capacity of 20. The postgraduate programmes include M.Pharma in Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmaceutical Analysis. For the M.Pharma in Industrial Pharmacy, the enrolment capacity will be 15. These are full-time courses that enable in-depth theoretical learning and practical exposure.

At SIMS College of Pharmacy, the admission process aims at selecting able and motivated students for different programs. At the undergraduate level, as in the case of the B. Pharma course, admission is made on the basis of the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test, AP EAMCET, a state-level test that evaluates a student's potential for taking up pharmacy studies. In the case of all postgraduate courses, including M. Pharma in all its specialisations, qualification in GPAT or PGCET, or any equivalent entrance test conducted by the state is mandatory for admission.

B.Pharma
- The candidates for admission to the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) course shall be required to have passed: The Intermediate (10+2) Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or an Examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology as subjects.
- The Diploma in Pharmacy (other than vocational) from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India. As this an AICTE approved institution, the course of study, subjects, teaching, and schedule during the course period will be. followed in accordance with the syllabi prescribed by AlCTE/ University. Examinations will be conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University (A.P.) as per norms.
M.Pharma Pharmacology
The candidate should pass B.Pharm with 50% marks in aggregate.
M.Pharma Pharmaceutics
The candidate should pass B.Pharm with 50% marks in aggregate.
