Sir M.V. School of Architecture, Bengaluru, situated in Krishnadeveraya Nagar, Hunasamaranahalli, this affiliated college functions under the nodal approval of the Council of Architecture. The institute comprises a small area of 133 acres and has a total of 72 enrolled students thus preserving the small campus feel. The school has only one course awarded which is the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) with approved annual admission of 40 students. The faculty of institute has only 8 members to teach different courses who pay proper time and focus to each of their students.
Sir M.V. School of Architecture has several amenities developed to support the learning process and the general growth of the learner. For the convenience and comfort of all its students, the campus has separate hostel facilities for girls and boys. The boys’ hostel with a current capacity of 17 numbers of rooms of single occupying 640 relatively large number among the students The girl’s hostel has the current capacity of 5 numbers of rooms of single occupying a relatively small number of about 300 students among the students. Both hostels meet strict discipline standards. There is also an impressive library in the provision of the institute’s library to supports studies in architecture. Students can purchase a range of Indian and international standard textbooks with additional opening hours being provided when examinations are being held. The campus has centrally located IT labs and well equipped internet centre with 80 terminals and Airtel broadband connection of 8Mbps research centre is well equipped with latest lab facilities.
Sir M.V. School of Architecture provides an undergraduate B.Arch course duration of five years and is a full time programme. With an aim of offering our students the best, this course has been developed to offer students a basic knowledge on architectural principles, designs and feasibility as well as practical skills to allow them to succeed in the job market. Although the institute offers only this undergraduate programme at the moment, it shows the strive for quality education in the sphere of architecture.

In the case of admissions to Sir M.V. School of Architecture, admission is highly competitive and are in coordinates with the norms prescribed by Council of Architecture and Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). Some of the ways through which the students can get admission are KCET, COMEDK UGET, NATA and JEE Main. These multiple entry points are the guarantee that gifted students with different opportunities will be able to attend the institute to become architects. The admission process normally begins at the beginning of each academic year offering CET, COMED-K and Management Quota as per rules and regulations only.

Candidate who have passed 2nd PUC / 12th Std with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (45% in case of SC/ST) and also 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination; or Candidates who have passed 10+3 diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
