SN Mudbidri Polytechnic, Moodbidri which was started in the year 1984 is affiliated college that operates in Moodbidri, Karnataka. Affiliated to many professional councils and recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), this institution imparts a number of diploma programmes in a number of specialisations in engineering. The polytechnic is located in a 23 acre of land and therefore of the total number of students admitted the institution has 789 students while the numbers of the faculty members is 51. SN Mudbidri Polytechnic offers seven diploma courses and only one degree type allowing the institution to focus on offering technical learning in areas like Mechatronics, Computer Science, Automobile Engineering, and Civil Engineering.

Both these hostels offer neat and clean vegetarian food and some of the features include Gymnasiums/Indoor games, etc. AVLM’s chief institutional resource is the technological shake-up in the college library that is a treasure trove of over twelve thousand volumes of technical book across engineering branches. The athletes are also well-catered for as the college has enclosed and open sporting arenas giving the students a way to exercise as they study. There is also a sports and student activity centre in the institution that offers technical display, literary events and cultural shows among others.

SN Mudbidri Polytechnic conducts a total of seven day diploma courses of three-year duration for the entire programme. The capacity of the institute is approved to admit only 420 students from all the programmes offered. These programmes include Diploma in Mechatronics, Computer Science and Engineering, Automobile, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. These programmes are an intensiveness of 60 students for intake; this shows our ability to ensure every student gets an adequate learning environment courtesy of the small classes.
