The Sophitorium Management College, Khordha, started its functioning in the year 2017 and is located at Baniatangi, Khordha, Odisha. It is a standalone institution. This is a coeducational institution and this institution is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) as offering quality education in the field of management studies. It has a total student capacity of 360 students and the faculty of 34 members provides a concentrated class. Currently, the institute offers only 3 programmes at the postgraduate level: the Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with 2 specialisations, which shows the focus of the institute in management education.
Sophitorium Management College provides various facilities of modern infrastructure to enhance students’ learning process and development. The central library with proper seating arrangement and Air conditioning with huge collection of curricular book, personality development book, national/international journals, and other important competitive examinations preparation materials, and digital library separately for under taking research activities. Dependent on product type and availability, modern, well-calibrated new laboratory equipment give practical understanding of the latest technology in use. The campus is equipped with properly lit, cross-ventilated, air-conditioned class rooms with qualified sound-video equipment to support multi-media and lecture replay functions. Students are able to study under a wired and wireless campus with leased internet of 1MBPS for academic use.
Sophitorium Management College has a full-time 3 PGDM programmes, which is two years with a sanctioned strength of one hundred and eighty students. The purpose of this programmes is to prepare students for successful management careers.
