Sri Aravinda Sathajayanthi Government Degree College, Narayanapuram, was established in 1972. the co-educational college is affiliated to a university and comes under the West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. It consist of a campus spread over 6 acres and caters to undergraduate courses. Out of a total enrolment of 136 students, 49% are male students, while 51% are female students. The college provides 6 courses from 3 degree programmes by a strength of 15 faculty members.
