Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College, New Delhi was established in 1973. It is a constituent college of the University of Delhi and is managed by the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Committee. SGND Khalsa College is a Sikh minority college and accredited with NAAC. The college offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Commerce and Sciences streams. The courses at the SGNDKC New Delhi include B.A, B.A (Hons), B.Com, B.Com(H), B.Sc (Hons), M.A and M.Com programmes.
The fee for UG courses is Rs 53,330 for the complete duration of a programme. Students must meet eligibility criteria to enrol in the courses. Admissions at the SGND Khalsa College are based on scores in the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) conducted by the NTA for both UG and PG courses. Candidates must appear for CUET-UG for UG admissions whereas candidates seeking PG admissions must appear for CUET-PG. Seats at the Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College will be allotted on the basis of a Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) by the University of Delhi.
SGND Khalsa College New Delhi also has a Placement Cell that organises various placement-related activities and invites recruiters from various industries to conduct campus placements. BA Business Economics Hons Self Finance
A person, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
BA English Hons
The candidate should have 10+2 or An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
- The applicant must have studied and passed English in the qualifying exam and should include English for calculation of ‘Best Four’ percentage.
- Merit shall be determined on the basis of “Best Four” featuring one language (English) and three best academic/elective subjects from among the subjects in List A and List B.
- Inclusion of any subject other than those from List A and List B in the combination of best three will lead to a deduction of 2.5% per such subject included in the aggregate “Best Four” percentage.
- An advantage of 2% in the ‘Best Four’ percentage will be given to those applicants who have studied English as an elective subject (See List A).
BA Hindi Hons
The candidate should have 10+2 or An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Applicants securing 40% or more marks in the aggregate and 50% marks in Hindi in the qualifying examination are also eligible for admission to the Hindi Honours Course.
- Applicants who have passed the intermediate Examination of an Indian University/ Board with at least 40% marks in the aggregate and also “Prabhakar in Hindi” shall be eligible for admission.
- The applicant must have studied and passed Hindi in the qualifying exam and should include Hindi for calculation of ‘Best Four’ percentage.
- Merit shall be determined on the basis of “Best Four” featuring one language (Hindi) and three best academic/elective subjects from among the subjects in List A and List B.
- Inclusion of any subject other than those from List A and List B in the combination of best three will lead to a deduction of 2.5% per such subject included in the aggregate “Best Four” percentage.
- An advantage of 2% in the ‘Best Four’ percentage will be given to those applicants who have studied Hindi as an elective subject (See List A).
BA Punjabi Hons
The candidate should have 10+2 or An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Applicants securing 40% marks in the aggregate and 50% marks in the subject concerned are also eligible for admission to the Honours Course.
Applicants who have passed the intermediate Examination of an Indian University/ Board with at least 40% marks in the aggregate and also one of the following examinations shall be eligible for admission to the respective subject of the Honours Course given below:
- Gyani in Punjabi
- The merit shall be determined on the basis of one language and three best academic/elective subjects from List A and List B above.
- Inclusion of any subject other than those from List A and List B in the combination of best three will lead to a deduction of 2.5% per such subject included in the aggregate “Best Four” percentage.
- For admission to Honours in Punjabi language course, advantage of 2% will be given in the aggregate ‘Best Four’ percentage to those applicants who have studied Punjabi elective language.
- In case the applicant has not studied Punjabi language at qualifying examination level and is seeking admission to Punjabi Honours course, deduction of 5% will be imposed on ‘Best Four’ aggregate percentage.
BA History Hons
The candidate should have 10+2 or An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Merit shall be determined on the basis of one language and three best academic/elective subjects as specified in List A and List B.
- Inclusion of any subject other than those from List A and List B in the combination of best three will lead to a deduction of 2.5% per such subject included in the aggregate “Best Four” percentage.
- Out of three academic/elective subjects chosen above, one must be the History subject, failing which a deduction of 2.5% will be imposed on the aggregate “Best Four” percentage.
BA Political Science Hons
The candidate should have 10+2 or An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Merit shall be determined on the basis of one language and three best academic/elective subjects as specified in List A and List B.
- Inclusion of any subject other than those from List A and List B in the combination of best three will lead to a deduction of 2.5% per such subject included in the aggregate “Best Four” percentage.
- Out of three academic/elective subjects chosen above, one must be the Political Science subject, failing which a deduction of 2.5% will be imposed on the aggregate “Best Four” percentage.
MA Punjabi
A candidate who has passed Bachelor degree of 3 years duration (B.A. or equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.
B.Com Hons
The candidate should have 10+2 or An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
- The applicant must have studied and passed Mathematics/Business Mathematics/ equivalent paper at the qualifying examination for admission to B. Com. (Hons.).
Selection shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination including one language and three best subjects as per the following:
- An aggregate of 45% or more in English/Hindi and combination of best three among the following subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies/ Commerce.
- Inclusion of any subject from List B other than mentioned above in the combination of best three will lead to a deduction of 1% per subject on the aggregate.
- Inclusion of any subject other than those in List A and List B in the combination of best three will lead to a deduction of 2.5% per subject on the aggregate of the Best Four.
M.Com
A candidate who has passed Bachelor degree of 3 years duration (B.Com. or equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.
B.Sc Mathematics Hons
- The candidate should have 10+2 with 50% marks in Mathematics and an aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Merit shall be determined on the basis of one language, Mathematics and two best academic / elective subjects as specified in List A and List B above.
