GNM
Have passed the Pre-university examination (PUC of 2 years) or equivalent as recognized by Karnataka State diploma nursing education board with science/ commerce/ arts & other subjects.
Have obtained at least fifty percent (40%) of the total marks in case of General Category and 35% in case of SC/ST.
Have completed 17 years on or before the 31st of October of the year of admission.
Be medically fit (should produce a medical fitness certificate from a recognized and licensed Physician).
B.Sc Nursing
Have passed the Pre-university examination (PUC of 2 years) or equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences with science subjects,. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects.
Have obtained at least fifty percent (45%) of the total marks in science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in the case of the General Category and 40% in the case of SC/ST.
Have completed 17 years on or before the 31st of December of the year of admission.
Be medically fit (should produce a medical fitness certificate from a recognized and licensed Physician).
M.Sc Community Health Nursing
Passed Nursing Degree or Post Certificate B. Sc. Nursing from any recognized university and must have obtained a minimum of not less than 55% aggregate marks. In respect of candidates belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe, the aggregate marks obtained should not be less than 50%.
A minimum of 1 year of experience after obtaining a B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) or a minimum of one year of work experience before or after a Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing Degree or Post Certificate B. Sc. Nursing in a hospital or a nursing educational institution, which is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
Registered in the State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.
M.Sc Medical Surgical Nursing
Passed Nursing Degree or Post Certificate B. Sc. Nursing from any recognized university and must have obtained a minimum of not less than 55% aggregate marks. In respect of candidates belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe, the aggregate marks obtained should not be less than 50%.
