St Aloysius College Alappuzha, inaugurated in 1965 By Mar kuriakose Elias Chavara of CMI is a premier institution situated at Edathua, Alappuzha district, Kerala. This affiliated college, which has been accredited NAAC, provides a wide array of undergraduate & post graduate programmes. Located over a wide 29 acre area, the college has 1,167 students and 53 faculty members on its rolls. St. Aloysius College is an education institution of repute and accreditations and the college has offered seventeen courses under its seven degree programmes. As for the gender distribution, 466 male students were enrolled, while 710 female students, which proves the existence of a gender equality in the institution.

It has amenities that will ultimately make the learning process more fulfilling for the college students. The library which is acknowledged as the central point of all academic activities supports the students with 35,100 books and 49 periodicals.
