Standard College is an affiliated college founded in 1979 at Kongba, Imphal East, Manipur. This institution has a total campus area of 8 acres and it provides its 4,421 enroles with very many courses. The college also has a faculty of 17 members and offers in total 18 courses under four degree courses. Standard College has been successfully accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), proving that our college pays considerable attention to the quality of educational services provided. An auditorium is used for occasions and lectures, a canteen is used for the preparation of food to the student and the staff. The college also facilitates a girls’ hostel so that the female students, who are from other neighbouring areas or towns, may be accommodated comfortably in the college hostels.

This school provides a vast array of academic programmes which makes it a college of substances. The institution offers 18 full-time courses and mainly offers under graduate programmes. These are Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) with different honours in specialisation. The B.Sc course offers honours in Botany, Zoology Chemistry, Physics and computer science .
