Subharti College of Arts and Social Science was established in the year 2012 at Subhartipuram, NH-58, Delhi-Haridwar Bypass Road, Meerut -250005. It is one of the constituent colleges under the campus of Subharti University. It offers bachelor's, masters, diploma, and doctoral programmes, focusing mainly on home science and related subjects. 

Subharti College of Arts and Social Science has quite a significant number of facilities to enhance the learning process. It has well-equipped laboratories in the campus for Human Development, Food and Nutrition, and Extension studies, which allow students hands-on experience. The library is centrally air-conditioned and stocked with more than 25,000 books and a large number of national and international journals, thus making it a knowledge hub for both students and faculty members. Institution Setup Modern facilities such as Wi-Fi connectivity, well-equipped separate gymnasiums for boys and girls, and a variety of sports facilities for indoor and outdoor games have been established. A 1050-bedded tertiary-care hospital inside the campus makes healthcare facilities truly comprehensive for the students. Subharti College of Art and Social Science offers 8 courses across five degree programmes catering to different academic interests and professional goals.

The concern of this college towards academic excellence can be manifested by the course structure, which ranges from MA Home Science   to M.Sc. Food and Nutrition, M.Sc. Human Development, M.A. Home Science, Ph.D. in Home Science, etc.

The admission process to most of the programmes in Subharti College of Arts and Social Science is merit-based; however, many among these also offer admission based on performance in the SNET. The undergraduate courses, such as B.Sc Home Science, have admissions based on merit or through the SNET scores. At the postgraduate level, M.Sc Food and Nutrition and M.Sc Human Development also consider academic merit and SNET performance. MA Home Science offers admission based on merit. For diploma courses in Early Childhood Care and Education and Guidance and Counseling, admission is made through merit-based selection or SNET.
