Sudharsan Engineering College (SEC), established in the year 2000, is located in Sathyamangalam, Pudukkottai District in Tamil Nadu and it is an affiliated college. Being an AICTE recognised institution, the institution occupies a massive 25.21 acres of learning and teaching facility with various engineering courses. As of now, SEC boasts of a total student enrolment of 405 and staffed by 63 faculty employees. The college offers seven undergraduate engineering courses all of which come under the Bachelor of Engineering (BE) qualification and they cover modern areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
At Sudharsan Engineering College, various forms of facilities are provided to make the students. The college also possesses an effective central library with a wide range of books and E-journals, digital resources to cater the need to scholars. Modern laboratories have been equipped for every department where practical experience is imperative in engineering course. For the enthusiasts of sports and games, SEC has outstanding sports complex and a lavish gymnasium for males and females. It also has a functional auditorium for events, seminars and other functions that improve academia for the campus. Healthcare that students need are met through an on-campus health centre complete with first aid facilities to cater for any need that a student may have. With most of the students coming from different parts of the country, outstation transportation facilities are included and in addition to this, male and female hostels are provided with a total of 320 and 240 beds respectively for outstation students.
SEC has a variety of engineering programmes, which are all day programmes, five-year courses at the undergraduate level. The college offers 7 BE programmes including emerging domains like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in addition to regular engineering disciplines. Offered across different courses, the SEC has an approved intake capacity of 405 seats that it seeks to train engineers of tomorrow. It is also for this reason that the college offers various courses majoring in practical teaching that prepares learners for-flow technology in our world today.

TNEA is accepted by SEC and the candidate has to qualify through a common entrance exam for BE/B.Tech on the basis of the marks of the qualifying exam i.e 10+2.
