Swami Vivekanand College of Engineering, Indore, or SVCE, established in the year 2004, is one of the premier and prominent colleges situated in the region of Madhya Pradesh, India. This affiliated college, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, is offering various engineering and management programmes. SVCE Indore occupies a large area of 7.5 acre and has a total intake capacity of 1700 students and employs 135 faculties. The institute also strives in having quality technical education and provides 13 courses under 4 programmes of degree with emphasis in several engineering and management fields.
SVCE Indore boasts of the best equipments to complement the learning process in its ever equipped and aided campus. The college has a vast library measuring a 10,000 sq ft area; it can accommodated 200 students and has over 25,000 books and 121 national / international journals. The campus has laboratories for all the students to provide working knowledge in their relevant subjects. There are sports facilities to improve the students’ body and mind and having acquisition of various sports carriages to use indoor and outdoor games through special sports’ officers.
The institute also has well established and efficient and modern IT infrastructure for accessing the campus ERP, internet surfing , virtual labs and e-library facility 24/7. The college consists of a canteen facility well equipped, and concern with cleanliness and nutritious food is well taken. An auditorium is provided for use in various functions such as events and seminars hence an active campus is promoted. The institute also has transport facilities to cover the students and staffs so that they can easily reach the institute.
All programmes are offered by the institute that has four years’ full time B.Tech programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. For post graduate education, SVCE offers Master of technology in Design of Mechanical Systems, VLSI Design, Computer Science and Engineering and Power Systems. in addition, the college has MBA, Mechanical and Civil Engineering diploma as well. The total intake approved for these programmes differ, the highest being 180 for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering.
