Swathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (SITS), was founded in the year 2009 located at Hayathnagar, Telangana. A part of Osmania University Hyderabad SITS provide a large spectrum of engineering and technological courses. The institute is located on an eleven acres campus and is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). SITS admits 650 students at once, and it has the strength of 71 faculties that make the students more comfortable to achieve good results. It has authorised 9 courses in 3 degree types offered in B.Tech., M.Tech., and Diploma programs are available in different fields of engineering.

For the undergraduate programs, the main criterion for admissions is the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test abbreviated as Ts EAMCET. This university entrance examination is designed to test skills in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, to make sure only students with excellent performance in those courses gets in. In respect of postgraduate admission, the Institute accepts the score of the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET). These entrance exams are usually conducted in May and June with counseling and admission coming in the following few weeks. SITS as well evaluates the general academic performance of candidates in their 10+2 or equivalent where the university provides an all round appraisal of all candidates.
