The second merit list for the UG admission 2023 at TISS Tuljapur has been released. Those who have secured seats in this list need to submit the fee by August 25, 2023.

TISS Tuljapur is a campus of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), a deemed university that offers courses in social sciences, rural development, social work, and public policy. The campus was established in 1986 with the support of the Government of Maharashtra to promote sustainable and equitable rural development
The campus has a 100-acre area on a plateau near the town of Tuljapur in the Osmanabad district. TISS Tuljapur Facilities include library, computer lab, health center, gymnasium, sports complex, cafeteria, guest house, and hostel.
TISS Tuljapur courses include undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various disciplines. The TISS Tuljapur admission is based on the TISS National Entrance Test (TISSNET) or the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), followed by a personal interview. The TISS Tuljapur fee structure depends on the course and the category of the students. The campus also conducts research and field action projects on various issues related to rural India. The campus of TISS Tuljapur is situated near the town of Tuljapur in Osmanabad district, Maharashtra. It is easily accessible by road from Mumbai (400 km), Pune (250 km), Hyderabad (300 km), Aurangabad (140 km), Solapur (45 km), and Osmanabad (20 km). The closest railway station is Osmanabad, which has train services to Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Solapur, and other cities. The nearest airport is Aurangabad, which has flight connections to Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and other major cities.

MA Social Work in Rural Development
- Candidates should have successfully completed a Bachelor's or Master's Degree of minimum of 3 or 4 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. Some Masters Degree programs will have additional/specific eligibility requirements. Candidates are advised to refer to program-specific eligibility criteria (given in the Table below) for more details and ensure that they satisfy such specific eligibility criteria.
b) Candidates who will successfully complete, in all respects, all the requirements of their final year eligible degree (including all examinations and internships, if applicable) by June 13, 2023, are also eligible to apply.
c) Those candidates who are eligible to apply, but cannot submit the degree certificate and grade/mark sheet at the time of admission are required to submit these latest by August 31, 2023, failing which their provisional admission would stand automatically canceled without any further reference to the candidate. The onus will be on the candidate to submit the degree/provisional degree and grade/mark sheet by August 31, 2023. No further extension of the date will be allowed under any circumstances.
d) When applying, candidates studying in 3-year degree programs should have passed in all the subjects for the 1st to 4th semesters and candidates studying in 4-year degree programs should have passed in all the subjects for the 1st to 6th semester.e) Until a candidate submits their degree certificate and final mark/grade sheet as evidence of having successfully completed the eligibility criteria by the given date, the admission offered will remain provisional.
f) Eligibility, determined on the basis of information provided in the application, will be used for the final selection process. If the information provided by a candidate is found to be incorrect or misleading at any point in time, their candidature/admission will be summarily cancelled. The Institute shall also reserve the right to take any legal action as deemed fit for any such act of misrepresentation or false declaration.

- Master’s Degree holders satisfying the criteria stipulated under Clause 2 above.
- Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil. course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) and successfully completing the M.Phil. Degree shall be eligible to proceed to do research work leading to the Ph. D. Degree in the same Institution in an integrated program. A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC(non-creamy layer)/differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
- A person whose M.Phil. dissertation has been evaluated and the viva voce is pending may be admitted to the Ph.D. program of the same Institution.
- Candidates possessing a Degree considered equivalent to M.Phil. Degree of an Indian Institution, from a Foreign Educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized, or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions, shall be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. program.
