It was established in the year of 2007 in Hyderabad the state of Telangana; Teegala Krishna Reddy College of Pharmacy (TKRCP). This affiliated college which is recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) provides several pharmaceutical education programmes. The K.R. College of Pharmaceutical Sciences is located in a campus that covers 2 acre of land: all together for its four sections, the college can enrol 413 students and employ 42 faculty members. The college offers four programmes in two levels of degree covering distinct areas of pharmacy education. As a co-educational institution we celebrate students from all backgrounds in our institution in order to create a conducive environment.
Teegala Krishna Reddy College of Pharmacy boasts of a number of contemporary amenities for academic as well as personal development of the students. An adequate number of books are available in library for students or for the faculty to study or for reference, and it is an intellectual centre for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The campus consists of 20 advanced laboratories equipped with the gas, water, and electrical supply to help student practice pharmaceutical sciences.
In regard to health and wellness, the company has provided a health centre equipped with first aid amenities, facility for gym and sports. The college also has different hostels for the male and female students in order to provide appropriate comfort. Besides, other amenities are available such as canteen, an event and seminar hall – auditorium, well equipped IT facilities to enhance information technology in teaching and learning.
TKRCP currently provides only four courses, whereby they include both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels of study. B.Pharma is a four-year, full-time course, and the course has the sanctioned intake capacity of 100 students. At the postgraduate level, the college offers three specialised M.Pharma programmes: Department of PQA, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology that the University has five intakes of fifteen students each and has a duration of two years. Full time mode of all the courses are present to ensures that the students gain good over all theoretical and practical knowledge in their subjects of specialisation. The overall capacity as approved for every academic year for all the courses combined is 145 students.

As for the admission procedure at Teegala Krishna Reddy College of Pharmacy it is rather different for every course. For, B.Pharma, admissions are given to the students according to their rank in Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). This makes certain that only those candidate who have best background in the relevant subject areas are sourced. For the postgraduate courses the college considers candidates on the basis of their rank obtained in national and state level entrance tests. Candidates, who have appeared for GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) and qualified, are first offered admission followed by those candidates who have qualified TS PGECET (Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test).
