Tejaa Shakthi Institute of Technology for Women (TSITW) is a recognised engineering college, situated at Karumathampatti, a suburb of Coimbatore in the state of Tamil Nadu and was incepted in the year 2008. Owned by Anna University, Chennai, TSITW is specially committed to education of women only intending to produce quality engineers. The institute conducts four undergraduate B.E./B.Tech courses in several disciplines. In terms of faculty, it has seventy six members and its major aim is to produce professional female engineers. The campus is located near Chennai Andavar Koil on NH-47, Avinashi Road, which supports the students optimal learning and character transformation process.

Tejaa Shakthi Institute of Technology has a number of amenities that has been developed to supplement the learning process of their students. The library is often said to be the nervous centre of the academic institution and contains a diverse reading collection, periodsicals, reference collections, and books. Fully developed modern laboratories for all the departments are available with modern apparatus and tools for practicals. Sporting activities at the institute foster athletic performance and sports within the institute feature play areas for indoor and outdoor games.

In all, TSITW has four full-time engineering courses, all of which can be completed within four years duration. The programmes are B.Tech in Information Technology, BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering. These courses are meant to equip students in their respective fields to enable them showcase their skills in the ever growing technological world. For detailed information concerning the total number of seats and the number of students enrolled the institute is yet to be established but has tremendous reputation of providing quality education and training.

The admission process of Tejaa Shakthi Institute of Technology for Women is mainly governed by the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions also known as TNEA counselling. The admission procedure of prospective students are as follows; they have to fulfill the eligibility criteria laid by the institute and undergo TNEA counselling session. The TNEA rank list for 2024 was released on July 10 2024 and the duration for filing the grievances was July 11 to July 18, 2024. Such dates should be important for the aspiring students to plan on their calendar. TSITW remains open to equal admission of students through this centrally admitted entry systems hence it selects only the most qualified candidates.
