Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, Mumbai popularly known as TCET Mumbai was established in the year 2001. The college offers a total of twenty one full-time programmes. The fifteen UG courses offered by TCET Mumbai consist mostly of B.Tech, BE, B.Voc, and B.Des programmes. Additionally, there are three PG courses offering M.E. and three Ph.D. degrees.
The candidates need to fulfil all the eligibility criteria to get admission to Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, Mumbai. The candidates who satisfy the TCET Mumbai Cutoff 2023 will be admitted to the college. The TCET Mumbai, MHT-CET Cutoff 2024 is regarded as the minimum mark required by candidates for getting admission to UG programmes. The TCET Mumbai also provides a separate training and placement cell which provides the students with better career opportunities.
The NIRF 2024 Report states that 405 undergraduate students were placed during the 2023 placement drive, with a median income of Rs. 5,00,000. Master’s Degree holders satisfying the criteria stipulated under Clause 2 above. Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil. course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and successfully completing the M.Phil. Degree shall be eligible to proceed to do research work leading to the Ph. D. Degree in the same Institution in an integrated program. A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC(non-creamy layer)/differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
