Thavathiru Santhalinga Adigalar Arts Science and Tamil College (TSASTC), Coimbatore,was established in the year 1952. This affiliated college is situated in Perur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and it occupies 7 acres of space. NAAC has accredited this university and TSASTC proves this by providing quality education to its students. It has 19 courses in 8 degrees serving 1043 students with 48 faculty members at this college. Being a unitary andautonomous institution, TSASTC offers specialisation area of Arts, Science, Commerce and Tamil being the undergraduate and postgraduate level education and also at doctoral level.

This college has many facilities serve to enrich the learning educational experience of its students. The library has stocks 31500 books and 73 magazines which are so much useful in academic life. For those having passion in sports and exercises, TSASTC has offered facilities in sports and equipped gym. The campus boasts itself with well equipped modern colleagues and good IT infrastructure with seventy computers for student use in their undertakings. There are auditoriums for events and seminars, and a canteen for food requirements of the student and workers. It also has a Health Centre that provides first aid services for the college with emphasis on students health. For the accommodation purposes, female students can avail the on campus girls hostel to live safely and comfortably.

TSASTC also covers a wide scope of academic programmes ranging from undergraduate level with 13 courses, postgraduate level with 3 courses and doctoral level with 6 courses making a total of 19 courses. The college is fully equipped offering full time and part time education with most of the courses being regular and self finance. The college also shows its respects towards gender diversity with the placement of 55% female students under the category of undergraduates while 65% are under postgraduates. The courses are B.Sc Computer Science Self Finance, B.Com, B.Com Self Finance,  PhD Tamil, PhD Computer Science, and so on.
