The Kavery Engineering College (TKEC) is an affiliated college that was set up in 2006 in Salem, Tamil Nadu. TKEC is situated on a campus of 8 acres and brings to the students a wide choice in engineering and management streams. The institute offers separate full-time courses in different fields of engineering and has MBA & MCA streams. The approved annual intake for all courses combined has been pegged at 1254 students. TKEC has different general admission requirements for its programmes. For admission into the undergraduate engineering programmes resulting in B.E./B.Tech., candidates are admitted according to the merit of their HSC (academic or vocational) or diploma and any other conditions stated by the college. Engineering postgraduate courses include M.E., and the performance of the candidate’s undergrad; their score out of TANCET scores are preferred. MBA and MCA courses mean admission through scores in undergrad engineering or arts and science with a TANCET score.
TKEC participates in several tests that students can write to be admitted into the institution, such as CEETA-PG and TANCET. There are several scholarships that are offered within the college, though there is no detailed information on the same.
