The Oxford College of Law, Bangalore was started in 2003 as an affiliated college situated in HSR Layout Bangalore. This Bar Council of India-approved institution focuses mainly on legal education only. Located in a 2-acre compound, the college provides three full-time law courses, which enrolled 291 students in total. Currently the count of the teaching staff is 8, so the student-teacher ratio still remains reasonable. Oxford College of Law is very much focused on legal education and ensures that all enrolled students actually leave the college well equipped to practice law.
There are various amenities in the Oxford College of Law to ensure that the students fulfil their college and personal needs. A sound-equipped library is a storehouse of multiple legal literature, from the latest textbooks, journals, case reports, and periodicals. The institution also has the e-library facilities that the students are advised to use for further research. To enhance practical exercise, a moot court has been developed through which the students can practice effective courtroom advocacy.
College offers proper accommodation separately for boys and girls with proper facilities and a homely environment in a hostel. First aid facilities, gyms, and sports facilities are also available for students’ health and well-being in a health centre. The campus facilities include modern information technology facilities such as a computer centre with Internet connection on each node for students’ use.
The Oxford College of Law offers three comprehensive law programmes: a three-year full-time programme that is LLB, a five-year integrated programme that is BA LLB and a BBA LLB. All these courses are on a full-time basis and offer the students a good fundamental foundation in lawful studies. In the LLB and BA LLB programmes, the intake capacity is 60 students in each, while the intake capacity for the BBA LLB programme is not clearly validated. These programmes' objectives are to provide competent members in the legal profession with theoretical knowledge and skills. Since the college offers a small number of courses in its specialisation, this creates an effective and intensive legal education environment.

Although the details of the admission process are not elaborated to the last detail, it is not uncommon to find that law colleges consider performance in qualifying exams and subsequent law entrance tests.
Prospective students are advised to visit the college's official website. Please visit the college website, or you can contact the admission office for further details concerning the admission procedures, dates for applications, and other documents needed. Surprisingly, information regarding this college concerning scholarships and the famous students who have passed through this college is limited, but with some of the key features in legal education in Bangalore, this college is a reasonable choice for students who wish to pursue law in the region.
