The admission process for TSSM's Bhivarabai Sawant College of Engineering and Research primarily comes from the merit list of MHTCET which is the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test. To become eligible for undergraduate engineering programs, a candidate needs to appear for all subjects of MHT-CET and secure non-zero marks. The scores of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) are also accepted by the college for BE admission. GATE scores are taken into account in the case of postgraduate programs. The institute admits students on a centralised basis as per the guidelines of the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.
